Motivation Monday

I wanted to write a post with all the motivational quotes, pictures, videos, etc. that I could find. I wanted to inspire you with beautiful pictures, words, and songs. I had a vision for this post. After hours of searching pinterest and other areas of the internet, I realized that most of the “motivational” things out there were really negative. They were disguising themselves as inspirational when in reality they are fat-shaming. I don’t want that on my blog and I certainly don’t want you to read that.

Instead, I’ll share what is perhaps my favorite motivational video ever. I get goosebumps every time. I know it’s probably not the best one out there, but man does it get me going. I never fail to kick butt after watching this video. If you only watch one video today (don’t let the baseball turn you off), make it this one:

The Grind:

In the end, the inspiration and motivation should come from within each and every one of you. Inspire yourself each time you choose the fruit over the candy. Motivate yourself by seeing your own results. There’s nothing out there that can make you do anything. You have to want and choose it every time. I wish the best for all of you starting a part of your journey today. I know how hard it can be and maybe one day you won’t be inspired or motivated, but that’s when you lean on others for support.

Until next time,

  1. Great post Carolina! The enemy within is the worst enemy we face and it will try to control you every time. Someone once said “life is a battle, we have to suit up every day and get ready to fight”. I don’t see that as fighting with everything or everyone around us, but instead within us. Keep up the good work! (love the baseball too!) 🙂

    • Thank you! That’s a great quote and so true. Sometimes things are right in my environment, but I’m not and that can derail me. I have to fight myself more times than I care to admit, but when I win, I realize how worth it the fight was.

Thank you, again. I love baseball — it’s my favorite! 🙂

  2. Great idea, love the video. I’m going to post one on my blog as well. Motivational Monday!!!
